Jack in Brisbane - FromTom & Wendy
Hi all,
Jack is now 2 weeks completed into RCH rehab. This week has been a busy one. He has attended speech occupational and physiotherapy daily and music therapy as well. He has also started hospital school offering maths tutoring and computer access. He remains happy in himself and focussed on his therapies. He expressed alot of interest in returning to school and has watched the clock longingly on what would have been his first day back at school.
He is back in the pool swimming a couple of laps of free style and getting a bit of sun exposure. He used 17 spontaneous words is sp therapy yesterday and his comprehension is improving noticeably every day. His particular interest has been seeing the car show in Brisbane so shall check this out next week.
Has seen the neurologist and eye doctors who are confident of continued improvement.
The rest of the tribe are getting back into the routine of school.
