Family Connections offer practical, emotional and spiritual support, whilst visiting the family in their home, such as:
Practical: food and groceries, transport, telephone, rent, medical, school expenses like school uniform, sporting equipment, camps, excursions and graduation, hampers for special occasions such as Christmas and Easter, connecting families to local agencies and taking families to appointments.
Emotional: Face to face consultation, individual and family therapy.
Spiritual: Connection of individuals and families to schools and parish, prayer and bearing witness to the Gospel values.
Family Connections runs on financial support from St John’s College P & F, grant funding, fundraising at St John’s College and donations. We hope to continue this service with your support, so that we strengthen our families in our schools and parish and promote living the Gospel values. Your prayers and financial support would be greatly appreciated, so that this service can grow and become a model of Catholic family support.
